Agulhas One Build

The scope for this build was to keep as true as possible to the original vehicle with modern improvements for useability and refinement. In keeping with this, the engine choice had to be the last version of the original pushrod V8 as offered in the 2004 Land Rover Discovery. This is mated to the last manual gearbox offered in the Defender, the MT82 6 speed.

The uniqueness of this vehicle lays in the details; The iconic Keswick Green and Old English White paint over a sumptuous but clean Saddle Brown leather interior keep with this design aesthetic. Surrounded by Sisal Carpets, the Old English gauges, burlwood steering wheel and dash round up the feel. For added comfort during the colder months, heated seats have been included. INDEPENDENT’s logo was craftly hand painted on each of the doors to further enhance the level of detail portrayed in the Defender.
